Public Hearing at March 9 RTID Board Meeting
This Friday, March 9 the RTID Executive Board will hold its monthly meeting which begins at 9:30 AM the King County Council Chambers, on the 10th floor of the King County Courthouse, 516 Third Avenue Seattle, WA 98104.
At the meeting, the board will hold a public hearing to gather public comment on the proposed Blueprint for Progress. The public comment period on the draft Blueprint for Progress closes on March 30, 2007. If you can’t attend the board meeting, you can e-mail your comments to info@rtid.org or send them to:

RTID and Sound Transit’s draft Roads & Transit plan will be the focus of the next King County Council Town Hall Meeting. Please join us!

The public is invited to meet face-to-face with King County Council Members at an informal reception starting at 6:00 p.m. The Town Hall program with briefings from RTID, Sound Transit and King County Metro, and opportunities for public questions, will run from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
*Throughout the year, the King County Council holds Town Hall Meetings on issues of public importance. Each Town Hall is a special meeting of the Council’s Committee-of-the-Whole (COW), the only standing committee on which all nine members serve. COW considers legislation and policy issues of interest to the full council.
Final Two Roads & Transit Open Houses in Lynnwood & Des Moines
The Roads & Transit package is nearly finished, and we want to share it with you and get your feedback. That’s why RTID and Sound Transit are hosting Roads & Transit open houses across the region—more than 450 people have joined us at the Seattle, Bellevue and Tacoma Open Houses! We invite you to join us in Lynnwood and Des Moines for our final open houses.
Each open house is from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM with a brief Roads & Transit presentation at 6:00 PM. Staff will be on hand to answer your questions as well as receive your input.
